Routine Medical Services

Family Pet Hospital and Tiny Town Animal Clinic provide care to your dogs and cats. This includes annual wellness examinations, puppy and kitten wellness check-ups, and vaccinations. We have an ultrasound and digital x-ray so you can be assured that the latest and most up-to-date care and diagnostics will be provided for your pet. We know your pets are an important part of your family and will be treated as if they are a part of ours. Appointments are preferred so that you won’t have to wait when you arrive.

Surgeries

Routine spay, neuter, and other elective surgeries are offered, as well as more involved surgeries such as tumor removals and orthopedic procedures including TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy).  TPLO is a surgery performed on dogs to stabilize the stifle joint after ruptures of the cranial cruciate ligament also commonly referred to as the ACL.  All patients are monitored by a technician and placed on a monitor that allows us to follow their vital signs. Patients are allowed to recover in a comfortable, quiet environment and cared for by qualified caring technicians.

Boarding

Reservations and current vaccinations are required for pets to stay in our facility. We provide boarding year round with Sunday evening pick-ups on most weekends. You are welcome to visit our facility for a tour during regular business hours.

In-House Blood work

Our hospital has the ability to run routine blood work and urinalysis with immediate results. Laboratory testing can help us diagnose a disease and can help catch many conditions early before they become serious. If your pet is sick, we may use blood work to diagnose an illness.

Pet Loss & Euthanasia

If the time comes to let your beloved family pet cross the rainbow bridge, we will be there for you every step of the way.  Our Doctors can help you with an end of life consultation. Our compassionate staff will aid you during this difficult time, as well as informing you of options through Faithful Companion – Pet Cremation Service.

Dentistry

Dental disease doesn’t affect just the mouth. It can lead to more serious health problems including heart, lung and kidney disease, which makes it all the more important that you provide your pets with proper dental care from the start. Routine dental cleaning and extractions are provided.

Digital Xray & Ultrasound

At Family Pet Hospital and Tiny Town Animal Clinic, we are equipped with state-of-the-art digital radiology. Digital X-rays help our veterinarians evaluate your pet’s musculoskeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems. The use of digital radiology decreases the stress on your pet by drastically reducing the time it takes for X-rays. It also allows us to have all of our films read by a board-certified radiologist within 24 hours to increase our diagnostic capabilities.

Ultrasound examinations are performed using a noninvasive imaging technique that generally does not require any sedation and causes minimal stress to your pet. Utilizing ultrasounds allows us to carefully examine your pet’s internal anatomy, primarily abdominal organs, and provide accurate diagnosis and treatment. Ultrasound may also be used in conjunction with digital radiology to provide the most accurate diagnosis.

Grooming

We like our pets to look their best and we know you do as well. We have a bathing and grooming area dedicated for just that purpose. Baths and Grooms are scheduled by appointment only. Grooming is more than just a haircut.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy provides you with a versatile, technician-driven tool that is a trustworthy adjunct to existing treatments – and can generate clinical victories on hard-to-treat-conditions where pain and inflammation are present.

Treatments are non-invasive, drug and surgery-free and can be administered in 1-10 minutes.  Clients enjoy being involved with their pet’s treatment as they see their loved one quickly relax as their pain is soothed away.
